From a valley in Colombia to the Garden Isle

Aloha! I'm Elizabeth, the owner and guide of Kauai Luxury Tours. I was raised in the lush valley region of Colombia, surrounded by mountains, and that is where my love for nature and the outdoors began.
I grew up hiking, exploring and connecting deeply with the land, and those experiences still shape how I guide today. I have been living in the Hawaiian Islands for over ten years, splitting my time between the Big Island and Kaua'i before settling into life on the Garden Isle. My path into tourism started during my years as a concierge, helping travelers put together experiences they would remember. My heart was always pulled back to the outdoors, though, and that pull led me to start my own tour company, one that lets me reconnect with nature while sharing the beauty, history and culture of Kaua'i in a personal way.
I am especially passionate about Kaua'i's culture, its geology and its landscapes, from the towering cliffs of Waimea Canyon to the quiet waterfalls of the North Shore. I am also a serious food lover, and I take pride in knowing the best local spots to eat and, just as importantly, what to order. Whether it is a hidden roadside gem or a farm to table dinner, I love sharing Kaua'i through its flavors as much as its scenery.
Every tour is private and fully customizable to your interests, your pace and your needs, in a spacious Ford Expedition with room for up to seven guests. Scenic lookouts, trails off the usual route, cultural background, local food favorites: tell me what you are after and I will shape the day around it. I look forward to welcoming you and sharing the island I have come to love so deeply.

What I will not compromise on
Running one vehicle means I can only take a few groups a week. It also means I get to do it properly.
Your day, not my schedule
Every itinerary I write is a suggestion, not a contract. Stay longer at a lookout you are enjoying, skip what does not interest you, stop when the light turns good. If the weather changes I reorder the day around it rather than push through a plan that stopped making sense an hour ago. Because it is only ever your group in the vehicle, there is nobody else to keep on schedule and nothing to hurry back for. Tell me what matters most to you and I will build the day around it.
A guide, not a driver
I guide every tour myself, and I know the history and the culture behind each stop, not just the route between them. I guide in English or Spanish, whichever you would rather hear it in. I also hold a Commercial Trail Tour Activity Permit from Hawaii's Department of Land and Natural Resources, so a guided hike on a state trail can be part of your day. There is usually banana bread I baked that morning in the car. You are riding with the owner, not a driver on a roster.
